Every day, I strive to deliver exceptional service to the Northern Illinois community by integrating state-of-the-art diagnostic technology with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Meet Dr. Anthony P. Tsiftilis, OD
As a proud DeKalb native, I’m honored to provide advanced, compassionate eye care to the community that shaped me.
I graduated from DeKalb High School and earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Illinois University.
I went on to receive my Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in Chicago, the world’s oldest school dedicated solely to optometry. I’m certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
My clinical training at the Illinois Eye Institute gave me hands on experience in primary eye care, pediatric and binocular vision, low vision services, specialty contact lenses and managing eye diseases.
I also completed a rotation at the Gilchrist-Marchman Rehabilitation Center, providing care for children with developmental challenges.
At Eye Q Vision, I combine leading technology with personalized care to treat a wide range of conditions. I specialize in dry eye disease, allergic eye disorders and hard-to-fit contact lenses.
My goal is always to offer effective, comfortable and tailored treatment for each patient.
What makes this work so meaningful is the chance to care for former teachers, neighbors and others who’ve been part of my journey. Serving my hometown is a true privilege.
Outside the office, I enjoy time with my wife and our two children. We’re proud to raise our family in DeKalb and stay active in the community that means so much to us.
